Die Filmprojektion zeigt autobiografische Fotos in Form eines 16 mm Filmloops. Die 1642 Bilder "rasen" innerhalb einer Minute mit der standardisierten Geschwindigkeit von 24 Bildern/sec. am Betrachter vorbei. Die Bildfolge des Filmloops zeigt ausschließlich Fotos, deren inhaltliche Referenzen auch von der persönlichen Erinnerung des Künstlers getragen werden. Es sind Amateurfotografien, wie jeder sie besitzt.

Installation for 16mm projector, sofa, table, carpet

The 16 mm film loop depicts 1642 images, each image captured in only a single film frame. The 1642 single frames run through the projector with the usual speed of 24 frames/sec. The effect of the projected image is comparable to that of a moving abstract painting. After a few minutes, however, the visitor's perception shifts and distinct images become recognizeable.
